In Matthew 4:23-25 it says Jesus healed all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. That means no kind was left out. There is no such thing as an incurable disease to God. There may be incurable sickness and diseases to the medical profession but not to God.
We thank God for doctors and their knowledge and their treatments. But what if your doctor said there is nothing he can do for you? What are you going to do then? You better know Doctor Jesus!
It also says in this passage that people came to Jesus from all the cities in that region. Some came as far as 100 miles away. There only way of transportation was to walk. Imagine walking 100 miles! In our region Moses Lake is approximately 100 miles from Spokane. If you are in Moses Lake and you are walking to Spokane that is going to take a while. Maybe a few weeks. So after these people had walked up to 100 miles to get to Jesus they had A high expectancy of being healed! And when “high expectancy” meets with the “Power of God” it produces healing!
In Matthew 9:35 it says Jesus was preaching, teaching and healing. I call this the 3 components of Jesus ministry. Everywhere he went he was doing one of those 3 things. He was either preaching, teaching or healing. The unsaved need preaching so they can get saved. The saved need teaching so they live out their salvation. And anyone that sick needs healing.
In Matthew 12:9-15 is a story of Jesus healing a man with a withered hand. And in verse 15 it said he healed them ALL. You should never let the devil tell you it is not God’s will to heal you. Because Jesus healed them ALL.
Jesus had the Spirit of God “without measure.” Which means he had an unlimited supply of the power of God flowing through him. Every minister on this earth only has the Spirit of God “by measure.” Which means we only have a certain portion of God’s power flowing through us.
This is why Jesus could heal them ALL.
In Mark 1:21-34 it said Jesus spoke with Authority and the demons obeyed him. Since Jesus gave us His Authority we can speak and the demons will obey us!
In Mark 6:53-56 it says many people touched the hem of his garment and as many as touched it were made whole. People in that day could walk up to Jesus and “touch him physically.” Jesus is not walking on the earth today. He is sitting at the right hand of the Father making intercession for you and me. So today for us to touch Jesus we have to “touch him with our faith.” How do you touch him with your faith? By calling him your healer. By calling him your physician. By calling him your miracle worker. What ever we call him that is what he becomes to us. If you call him Savior he will save you. If you call him Provider he will provide for you. If you call him Deliverer he will deliver you. IF YOU CALL HIM HEALER HE WILL HEAL YOU!
In Mark 5:1-20 is the story of the Mad Man of Gadara. He was filled with demons to the degree he had supernatural strength and he broke the chains that were placed upon him. When he saw Jesus the demons within him cried out in verse 7 “What have I to do with you , Jesus, Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that you torment me not. Jesus said, come out of the man, you unclean spirit. What is your name? The demons said, My name is Legion: for we are many. And the demons asked him to not send them out of the country.” In verses 11-13 the demons were cast out and went into swine. In verse 15 it says “the man that was possessed with the demons, was sitting, clothed and in his right mind. He was completely healed!
In Mark 5:25-34 is the story of the Woman who had the issue of blood for twelve years. It says she went to many physicians and tired everything she could but was no better but rather grew worse. But when she heard about Jesus she came in the press and touched his garment. For she said, “if I can just touch his garment I will be made whole.” And she was made whole! As I said earlier since Jesus is not walking on the earth today we have to touch Him with our faith. And if we will reach out and touch him with our Faith and CALL JESUS OUR DELIVERER, CALL JESUS OUR DOCTOR and PHYSICIAN, CALL JESUS OUR HEALER . IF WE WILL DO THAT ON A CONSISTENT BASIS HE WILL HEAL YOU!
In Luke 6:12-19 it says Jesus prayed all night! Then when he came down the plain there were great multitudes that came to hear him and be healed. I have said for years if you want to be healed you need to HEAR THE WORD OF GOD on healing. Some people have the attitude that they don’t want to hear the Word of God. They just want to be healed. We must always come to God’s Word with humility and respect if we expect to receive from Him. In verse 19 it said “virtue went out of him, and healed them all. Much Prayer equals Much Power! Little Prayer equals little power. And No Prayer equals no power.
Jesus had Much Power because he had Prayed all night! I am not saying you have to Pray all night to be healed. But just know the degree we Pray is the degree of Power that is released to us.
In Luke 13:11-17 is the story of the woman who had the spirit of infirmity for eighteen years. Jesus said, “woman you are loosed from your infirmity and immediately she was made straight. The religious leaders had a problem with this because it was done on the sabbath day. Jesus said, ought not this woman who satan has bound be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
We see clearly from this passage satan is the one who binds us and Jesus is the one who looses us and sets us free!
