4)Question:

What is the Trinity?

4)Answer:

The Trinity is the Father,Son and Holy Spirit according  to Matthew 28:19,John 14:26,John 15:26.

There is only one God however he operates and functions in three offices.

How can that be? I am a Pastor, Husband and Father and I operate in three offices or functions but I am only one person.

Some have said that the concept of the Trinity is not biblical because the word Trinity is not in the Bible.

That is true the word Trinity is not in the Bible. However, as you can see from the above scripture the concept of the Trinity is biblical.

The word Bible is not in the Bible however we all know the Bible does exist.

5)Question:
What does the Bible say about Parenting?

5)Answer:
The Word of God has a lot to say about Parenting.
Proverbs 22:6 says: Train up a Child in the way he should go:and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
To train is to instruct and direct. If you train up your Child according to God’s Word even if they stray away
from the things of God you have God’s promise that when they are old they will not depart “it.”
The “it” is the training according to God’s Word you gave them!

6)Question:
What does the Bible say about Divorce?

6)Answer:
Malachi 2:14-16 says God HATES divorce.
However,God has made an exception based upon Fornication and Adultrey according to Matthew 19:3-9 and other verses on this topic.
Expanding upon this topic.
Divorce can be an exception based upon the Three A’s Adultrey,Abuse or Addiction.
Abuse and Addiction are not bible words however there are words in the bible that relate to them.
I would relate Abuse to Hate and Addiction to the Lust of the Flesh.
Regarding the exceptions of Abuse and Addiction in Marriage and using these two exceptions for divorce you would need to be
Led by the Holy Spirit because only God knows if that Spouse is going to change.
For additional information on Divorce follow these steps

7)Question:
What does the Bible say about Marriage between a Believer and an Un-Believer?

7)Answer:
If you are Single. God’s Word says in Second Corinthians 6:14-18 and 7:1 to be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers.
However, if two Unbelievers get Married and then later if one of them becomes a Believer.
Then you have a Marriage where one Spouse is a Believer and one Spouse is a Un-Believer.
What should the Believing Spouse do in this case? First Corinthians 7:10-16 says if the Un-Believing Spouse wants to stay in the Marriage
the Believing Spouse should not leave.
However, if the Un-Believing Spouse leaves let them leave and the Believing Spouse is not under bondage in such cases.
Once again if Abuse or Addiction is involved the Believing Spouse needs to be Led by the Holy Spirit because only God knows if that
Un-Believing Spouse will change.

8)What Does the Bible say about Dating?

8)Answer:
NOTHING!
The bible says absolutely nothing about dating.
There are no scriptures on the topic of dating in the bible.
However, the bible is full of scriptures on Relationships and guidelines on what to look for in the Character of a potential Spouse.
First Corinthians 6:14-18 says “Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers”. So if you want God’s will for your life
you should not date a unbeliever. And do not think you can change him or her. You cannot change anyone. The only person you can change is yourself.
First Corinthians 7:1 says to “cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. So you want to date someone that has the same desire.
First Corinthians 6:18 says to flee fornication. Hebrews 13:4 says Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
So if you are dating someone who wants you to commit fornication or adultery obviously you should not date them.
Ephesians 5:21-33 gives us the duties for husbands and wives. This passage says that a husband should love his wife as Jesus loved the church and that a wife should respect her husband.
So you are looking for those qualities of “love and respect” in who you are dating.
Finally, even after you have found all of the above qualities in the person you are dating.
You want to ask God for Wisdom. Why? Because only God knows EVERYTHING about this person and if they are the right person for you.
You can obtain God’s Wisdom by praying the Ephesian and Colossian Prayers in Ephesians 1:16-23 and the Colossians 1:9-13 and God will give you the Wisdom you need.

9)What is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?

9)Answer:
Blasphemy means to Speak Against or Mock or Criticize.
People who Speak Against,Mock or Criticize Miracles,Signs and Wonders and Speaking in Tongues or any work of the Holy Spirit is Blasphemy.
According to Jesus in Mark 3:28-29 a person who has committed Blasphemy never has forgiveness in this life or in the life to come and
is in danger of hell and eternal damnation.

10)Question:
What is the Sin unto Death?

10)Answer:
The Sin unto Death is listed in First John 5:16.
The latter part of this verse says: There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
The Sin unto Death is when a Believer has knowingly and willing rejected Jesus and renounced their salvation.
This is a very rare thing and only God would know if a believer has truly committed this sin.
It can only be done by a mature believer.

The qualifications for a mature believer is listed in Hebrews 6:4-6 it says:
It is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,
and have tasted the good Word of God,and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance:
seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

The Qualifications for a Mature Believer are:
1-They were once enlightened or at one time they knew they were sinners.
2-They tasted of the Heavenly Gift which is Jesus and accepted salvation.
3-They were filled with the Holy Spirit.
4-They tasted the Good Word of God or tasted the Meat of the Word not just milk.
5-They tasted the Powers of the World to come which are the Gifts of the Spirit.
If they fall away or knowingly and willing reject Jesus and renounce their salvation.
The scripture in First John 5:16 says do not even pray for this person.
God is saying this because they have made a choice to renounce Jesus and they knew what they were doing.

If your three year old gets mad and says “I hate you.” That is one thing. A baby may say anything.
However, if your Fifty Three year old child says “I hate you.” That is a whole different situation.
This is the principle behind the Sin unto Death.
God knows a mature believer knows what they are saying and they mean it.

11)Question:
Is Water Baptism Important?

11)Answer:
Yes! Absolutely! If we want to follow Jesus we should do everything Jesus did and Jesus was Baptized.
In Matthew 3:13-17 John was surprised when Jesus came to him to be Baptized.
John said to Jesus “I should be Baptized by you and you come to me for me to Baptize you?”
Jesus said, “we need to fulfill all righteousness.”

Verse 16 says that Jesus came up out of the water. That means he was fully immersed down under the water.
Some Churches only give a person a few sprinkles on the forehead this is not Baptism.
Scriptural Baptism is full immersion.

Mark 16:16 says he that believes and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believes not shall be damned.
Baptism is important but it is not necessary for us to be saved. Based upon the above verse we see Jesus said
it is not believing which causes a person to be damned not being Baptized.

Galatians 3:27 say “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Baptism is an “outward sign” of an “inward change”.
You are telling the world that through Baptism you have been born again inwardly and Baptism is a “outward sign”
of your change “inwardly.”

12)Question:
How Should I Study the Bible?

12)Answer:
Second Timothy 2:15 says: Study to show thyself approved unto God, A workman that needs not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the Word of truth.
It says Study to show thyself approved unto God. You don’t have to prove your Bible knowledge to anyone else.
However, you do need to prove yourself to God.
Then it says “rightly dividing” so that means the Word can be “wrongly divided.”

First of all, when I study the Bible I Study out of three to four different versions so I get different views
on the Word is saying.
Some words I will look them up in the “Hebrew and Greek” to get a better understanding of what certain words meant
to the Authors that wrote them.

Second, what ever Topic is of most importance to you at the time is what you should Study. Why?
Because that particular Topic you will be “motivated” to Study!
If you are having Marriage problems Study the Word on Marriage.
If you are having problems Raising your Children Study the Word on Parenting.
If you are having Financial problems Study the Word on Finances.
This method of Bible Study will be the most fulfilling for you!
Because it will give you Answers to life’s most pressing problems.
Find all the Scriptures that fit that Topic through a Concordance and Study them.
The Thompson Chain Reference Bible has been a blessing to me for years for this purpose.

Third, follow this Rule of Who,What,When and Where.
“Who” was the Author speaking to? The Jews,The Church or the World and Unbelievers?
“What” is the main message the Author is trying to convey?
“When” in Bible History was the Author speaking? Old Testament or New Testament?
‘Where” in Bible History Geographically was the Author located?
Following this Rule will help you “Rightly Divide the Word of Truth!”

If there are no problems in your life you want solutions to at this time and you just want a more “general way” to Study the Bible.
There are One Year Bible Study Outlines you can find Online which will help you Read the Bible through in One Year.

Using the above knowledge now you are more equipped to Study to show yourself approved unto God!

13)Question:
How Should I Meditate on the Scripture?

13)Answer:
The Hebrew and Greek words for Meditate means to Reflect,Contemplate,Think,Ponder,Speak,Muse,Mutter,Whisper,Imagine and Rehearse.
So the best way to Meditate on the Scripture is to get “one Scripture” and Reflect on that one Scripture.
Think about that “one Scripture” and Ponder yourself doing that Scripture.
Speak that Scripture. Muse and Mutter that Scripture. Whisper that Scripture. Imagine you obeying that Scripture and
Rehearse that Scripture over and over in your thoughts and words.

Another way to Meditate on the Scripture is to “Write the Scripture” and “Write how it would look with you obeying that Scripture.”

Meditation on the Scriptures will help you to become Successful in life!
In Joshua 1:1-8 Moses was dead and Joshua was the New Leader of Israel.
Following in Moses footsteps was a huge task.
There are a lot of things God could have told Joshua to do to be Successful to take over the leadership of Israel.
God could have said Pray. God could have said Fast. God could have said Read.
No God told Joshua if he would MEDITATE in his Word day and night he would be Successful.
So God is telling you the same thing MEDITATE in His Word day and night and you will be Successful!
Your MEDITATION should obviously be on the issues of life you are struggling with and then you will no longer struggle but you will be Successful!

14)Question:
How can I know for sure that Hell is REAL!

14)Answer:
If Hell was not REAL Jesus would not have went to the extreme of dying for your sins on the cross and going to Hell for you so you do not have to go to Hell
if you accept His Salvation!
Also there are 150 Scriptures in the Bible about Hell. If God tells you something 150 times IT IS REAL!
Study ALL 150 Scriptures about Hell in the Bible and remove any and all doubt about the reality of Hell so you can have assurance that:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

15)Question:
Babies that die do they go to Heaven?

15)Answer:
YES! ABSOLUTELY!
In Second Samuel 12:1-23 David had a child with Bathsheba through adultery and the child died. David fasted and prayed in hopes the child would live.
However the child died anyway. David said after the death of the child. “I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.”
In other words, David expected to see the child in heaven when he goes to heaven.

In Matthew 18:14 Jesus said, “It is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.”
In Matthew 19:13-14 and Mark 10:13-16 and Luke 18;15-17 all say that little children are of the Kingdom of Heaven and only those that humble themselves
like a little child shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

So babies that die definitely go to Heaven!

16)Question:
If Lucifer was created Perfect how did he sin and become satan?

16)Answer:
FREE WILL!
Ezekiel 28:11-15 says that he was created Perfect until iniquity was found in him.
According to Isaiah 14:12-15 he wanted to exalt himself above God which was his downfall.

God has given us all FREE WILL.
God wants us to obey him willingly he is not going to force us to obey him.
Lucifer CHOSE to exercise his FREE WILL and disobey God and that was sin.

When God created Adam and Eve and set them in the Garden of Eden they had
EVERYTHING they could ever want or ask for.
Why does God place fruit in the center of the garden and tell them not to touch it?
God gave them a FREE WILL and the option to obey or disobey.

17)Question:
Why is Speaking in Tongues so IMPORTANT?

17)Answer:
There are several reasons:
1)Speaking in Tongues allows you to “pray much longer” than just praying in your natural language.
When you can “pray longer” you can sow more to the Spirit.
Galatians 6:7-8 says Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.
For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Sprit shall of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
Since Speaking in Tongues allows you to sow more to the Spirit you are going to reap more from the Spirit!
2)Speaking in Tongues daily and consistently for long periods of time opens the door more to the Gifts of the Spirit!
3)Speaking in Tongues is the initial Sign you are filled with the Spirit.(Acts 2:4)
4)Speaking in Tongues edifies and builds you up spiritually. (First Corinthians 14:4)
5)Speaking in Tongues reminds us of the Holy Spirit’s Indwelling Presence. (John 14:16-17)
6)Speaking in Tongues allows us to Pray the Perfect Will of God. (Romans 8:27)
7)Speaking in Tongues stimulates our Faith. (Jude 20)
8)Speaking in Tongues allows us to Pray for the Unknown. (Romans 8:26)
9)Speaking in Tongues Gives us a Spiritual Refreshing. (Isaiah 28:11-12)
10)Speaking in Tongues allows us to Sing in the Spirit.(First Corinthians 14:15)

It is God’s Will for every believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit and Speak in Tongues.
However, it is up to each believer to receive these Gifts.

18)Question:
If God is Love why does He allow Evil on the Earth?

18)Answer:
God NEVER intended for Evil to be upon this Earth.
According to Genesis Chapter One after God had created everything in the Earth. In verse 31 it says, And God saw everything thing he had made, and behold, it was VERY GOOD.
In verse 26 God gave dominion over the Earth to Man.
In Genesis Chapter 3 Man gave his dominion of the Earth to satan.
Romans 5:12 tells us that as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
So God had nothing to do with Evil on this Earth.
That was accomplished through Adam and satan.
We should NEVER blame God for Evil being on this Earth He had nothing to do with it.

19)Question:
If God is Love why does He send some people to Hell?

19)Answer:
In Matthew 25:41 Jesus said, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
Hell was prepared for the devil and his angles NOT PEOPLE.
Okay so why do some people go to hell? Because they reject the Salvation God has offered them.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in him should not perish.
but have everlasting life.
God does not send anyone to hell.
I WILL SAY IT AGAIN PEOPLE GO TO HELL BECAUSE THEY REJECT GOD’S SALVATION.

20)Question:
What does the Bible say will happen to me after I die?

20)Answer:
That depends upon if you are a BELIEVER OR UNBELIEVER?
In Luke 16:19-31 is the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus.
Jesus said in verse 22 it came to pass, that “the beggar (Lazarus) died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom:
the Rich Man also died, and was buried.”
Lazarus represents believers and after “he died he was carried by the angels.” Believer’s have angelic escorts that will take them to heaven.

The Rich Man in this story represents unbelievers and after he died verse 23 said “in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments”…
In verse 24 he said he was “in the flame.”
In verse 25 Abraham said, to the Rich Man “remember that you in your lifetime you had good things.”
In verse 27 he wanted to pray for his five brothers so they would not go to hell.
If you are a Unbeliever you will experience the same thing this Rich Man did after you die.
However, obviously if you are reading this you still have an opportunity to accept God’s Salvation.
If you would like to receive God’s Salvation go to our Home Page and Click on our Sermon on Salvation NOW!

21)Question:

Why does Evil things happen to Good people?

21)Answer:

Evil things happen to Good people and Bad people. Evil things happen to EVERYONE. The reason Evil things happen is because that is satans mission. Jesus said, in John 10:10 “the thief (satan) comes not , but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” Job was a Good person . In Job 1:1 it says, “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and shunned evil.” If you know the story of Job a tremendous amount of Evil came upon him. In Job 1:13-19 it says Job lost his children and all of his possessions in the same day! Then in Job 1:21, Job said, “Naked came I out of my mothers womb, and naked shall I return: the Lord gave and the Lord has taken away: blessed be the name of the Lord.”

Now I am going to say something that is going to SHOCK YOU!  JOB WAS WRONG!  WHAT? How can I say that? I can say that because “Every statement in the Bible is truly stated. But every statement in the Bible is not a statement of truth.” Some people lied in the Bible. So, obviously those were not statements of truth. But every thing that someone said in the Bible is truly stated because they said it. I am not saying that Job is lying, I am saying that Job was misinformed. The first part of Job’s statement is true, “Naked I came I out of my mothers womb, and naked shall I return. ” However, the second part of his statement is false. Job said, “the Lord has taken away: blessed  be the name of the Lord.” The  Lord did not take away from Job. Satan did that. The book of Job is one of the oldest books in the Bible. Job did not have the privilege that we do of having the Entire Bible. Job assumed the Lord was taking from him. Job did not know that thousands of years later Jesus was going to come to earth and pull the covers off of satan and tell us “satan comes not, but for to steal, and  to kill , and to destroy.” Also, Job did not know that Jesus would also say what is recorded in Matthew 6:33 that when we “seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;  all these things shall be ADDED to us.” Not taken away. Furthermore, Job is the one that opened the door for satan come in to steal, kill and destroy. In Job 3:25 Job says, “for the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.”  Nevertheless, in Job 42:10 it says, “the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job TWICE AS MUCH as he had before.” So this proves God had never taken from Job to begin with. God only blessed Job. So back to the Question: Why does Evil things happen to Good people? Because that is satans mission to steal, kill and destroy.  When I have preached this in different Churches some of the people seem to almost fall out of their seat when I say JOB WAS WRONG! But we need to do what God said in Second Timothy 2:15 “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

22)Question:

Why didn’t  God Kill Satan after he rebelled?

22)Answer:

First of all, God is a spirit according to John 4:24 it says, “God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth.” Second, God is eternal. Jesus said, in Revelation 22:13, “He is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, the first and  the last.” So when God created all beings we are all eternal also. All spirit beings will live eternally. The question is “where” will you live eternally? Heaven or Hell? Spiritual Death is NOT cessation of life. Spiritual Death is separation from God. When satan who was originally Lucifer was  expelled out of heaven. He and one third of the fallen angles were separated from God. Satan being cast out of heaven is recorded in Isaiah 14:12-15 and it says in verse 12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how you are cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations.” Eventually, satan and his fallen angels will be completely and forever separated from God according to Revelation 20:10 “the devil that deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast, and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Matthew 25:41 says, he shall say unto them on the left hand, Depart from me , you cursed, into everlasting fire , prepared for the devil and his angels.” God will never kill satan from the standpoint of satan ceasing to exist. However, God will destroy satan by eternally separating him from himself and casting him in the lake of fire forever and ever.

23)Question:

Why doesn’t God always Heal the Sick?

23)Answer:

Have you ever thought why God did a Miracle and Healed one believer and did not for another believer? Romans 2:11 says, there is no respect of persons with God. The Living Bible says, God does not show favoritism. Okay if God does not show favoritism why did one believer receive a Miracle Healing and another did not? The Believer that did not receive a Miracle or a Healing. We do not really know what they are thinking, saying or believing. In many cases, if a Believer has a fatal Sickness or Disease and they are in and out of consciousness they may see over into the spiritual realm and they may see Jesus and or Heaven and they want to go to Heaven. Many of their family members and loved ones may be praying for their  Healing. But the sick person desires to go to Heaven. Psalm 37:4 says, Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

The Word of God clearly tells us in many verses that Healing is the Will of God.

Isaish 53:5 says, he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Matthew 12:15 says, … great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all.

First Peter 2:24 says, Who his own self bear our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes we were healed.

God always desires to Heal the Sick. However, if a Believer desires to go to Heaven. God will grant them their desire to go to Heaven instead. God will never violate our free will and force us to do anything. God allows us to make our own choices.

24)Question:

Is Prosperity Biblical?

24)Answer:

Absolutely!

We need to settle it in our heart and mind. Is Prosperity Biblical? It has been stated that God talks about money in the Bible over 2,300 times. Yes, it is Biblical! If God talks about it that much obviously it is Biblical. After God had created mankind in Genesis 1:28 it says, HE BLESSED THEM! The very first thing God had on his mind for mankind was He wanted them Blessed! In Genesis 12:1-3 God says, to Abraham…”I will bless you, and make your name great: and you shall be a blessing; and I will bless them that bless you, and I will curse them that curse you: and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed.” If you are a believer God has given us the Blessing of Abraham. Galatians 3:14 says, …”the Blessing of Abraham has come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ: that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Then in Genesis 26:1-14 God tells Isaac do not go to Egypt but stay in the land of Gerar. Egypt had all the food and provision. Gerar was full of famine. Why does God tell Isaac to stay in a town full of famine? God says to him in verse 3 because “I will be with you and I will BLESS you.” If God is with you and says He will bless you well that changes everything. In verse 12 it says, Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a HUNDREDFOLD; and the Lord Blessed him.

In Genesis 28:10-22 Jacob has a dream and sees a ladder going up to heaven  and sees angels ascending and descending on it. When he wakes up he makes a vow to God to give him a tithe of all that he has. In Genesis 30:43 it says, …Jacob increased exceedingly…

In Genesis 39:1-6 it says the Lord was with Joseph and he was a prosperous man and the Lord blessed the Egyptians house for Joseph’s sake and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he did.

God blessed Abraham, Isaac, Jacob ,Joseph, Job, David, Solomon. Everyman that God was with He Blessed them! And the Great News is YOU ARE NEXT God wants to BLESS YOU! If you will believe in His Word on Prosperity and Obey it!
